Beer Dinner in Asheville

Our first beer dinner in Asheville!

Sunny Point Cafe
Tuesday, August 24th
6:30 and 8:30 seatings
$40 per person

MUST have reservations!

On the Table: Housemade pretzel bread served with an assortment of Lusty Monk Mustard and fresh local fruit

Appetizer: Local Sunburst Mountain Trout and brie cake rolled in fresh herbs and served on Mediterranean couscous. Garnished with preserved lemons and served with a hop infused buerre blanc.

Soup or Salad: A salad of marinated heirloom tomatoes and cucumbers from our garden topped with Maryland lump crab meat and drizzled with a Heffe Weisen vinaigrette on a bed of peppery arugula. OR A late summer Silver Queen corn bisque topped with heirloom tomato basil confit and garnished with parmesan chips.

Entree: Hickory Nut Gap all natural hormone free T-bone pork chop brined with porter and malt. Smoked with hickory and garden hops and served over a pork belly hash of fingerling potatoes, fresh rosemary, sage, early fall apples and a lemony green bean salad.

Dessert: Bittersweet chocolate molten cake served with organic Guatemalan coffee ice cream. Drizzled with a caramel stout reduction and garnished with sea salt and fresh berries.

And each course will be paired with an Olde Hickory Brewery beer selected to complement and enhance the food, most of which was grown by cafe staff or obtained from Asheville area farms.
