Olde Rabbit's Foot 12/8/2012

Olde Rabbit's Foot craft beer

Olde Rabbit's Foot, the bourbon-barrel aged imperial stout collaboration between Olde Hickory Brewery, Duck Rabbit Craft Brewery and Foothills Brewing, will be released at Foothills Brewing at 10am, Saturday December 8th.

4 bottle limit per person.

This is your chance to get the 2012 ORF, and of course a great time is had by everyone at Foothills after the sales are complete. Always a great selection on tap, and it's the perfect opportunity to talk beer with like-minded folks!

Cheers!

Upcoming releases...

Lindley Park label

Lindley Park - our barrel-aged imperial stout brewed with honey and raspberries - will return in early October.

[Update 10/2/2012] Lindley Park is currently being delivered, and is already on tap in several locations!

The Event Horizon (2012) is still hanging out the bourbon barrels, doing its thing. Should be ready sometime in November. And our Christmas Ale will also be released sometime in early November.

Cheers!

Growlers Koozies and Oktoberfest! Completely unrelated topics!

Olde Hickory growler koozies are now available at the Olde Hickory Tap Room and Amos Howards Brew Works (both in Hickory, NC). Featuring velcro closure and carrying strap these are perfect for keeping growler chilled and just making them easier to carry.

Not a great image - the color is actually a slightly deeper green, but you get the idea.

And judging by untappd checkins and twitter comments many people already know Olde Hickory's Oktoberfest has been released. Thanks for all the great support and feedback! We brewed 2 batches, but retailers have been ordering like crazy, so get it while you can.

Twin City Taps venue change

We had a great time at the first Twin City Taps festival last year and are on board again this year! Everyone who came out was very supportive of Olde Hickory and gave great feedback. We really appreciate you guys. Plus the festival benefits the NC Brewers Guild, which works hard to promote our industry and educate and liaise with government officials to simplify life for both consumers and producers.

There has been a recent change to the festival. The date is still the same- Aug. 11th- as is the time- 12pm-6pm- but the location has moved to Ziggy's at 170 W. 9th Street in Downtown Winston-Salem. Still a ton of great breweries & live music.

You can find out more about the festival on their website www.twincitytaps.com, including great directions to the new venue.

Cheers!
